I love making salsa and I could put it on everything. I just found out a few years ago how easy it is to make. All you really need in a blender or food chopper and you can have fresh homemade salsa in minutes. I used to add more jalapeno but Jace likes to eat it too and he isn’t a fan of anything too spicy.
Easy Homemade Salsa
- 1 Jalapeno seeds removed
- 3 or 4 Medium Tomatoes cut in Fourths
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1/4 Medium Onion
- 1 Handful of Cilantro
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
Add the tomatoes, jalapeno, garlic, onion, cilantro, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to the blender and mix until the texture you like. Sometimes I like mine more chunky and sometimes I like it blended really fine. Enjoy or put in a covered bowl or jar. I like mine best after it has time to chill in the fridge for about an hour. As with most of my recipes you can add more or less of an ingredient. My mom likes onion more that I do and usually adds more.
