The Disney Wonder recently got a major update. We were lucky enough to be one of the first few cruises out of Galveston on it. It was simply amazing.
One of the new additions was Tiana’s Place.
It was my favorite restaurant out of the 3 restaurants part of the rotational dining. The atmosphere was upbeat and very kid friendly. Jace LOVED all the dancing and live music.
Since we went on a 7 night cruise we had the pleasure of eating here twice! We got a different menu each time. And the food was amazing. My favorite was Eudora’s Artichoke Ravioli with sautéed spinach, lemon butter, sage and pecorino cheese. I had Artichoke ravioli at Palo also and I actually liked it better at Tiana’s.
Patrick and I had almost every dessert offered and both of our favorites ended up being at Tiana’s Place. Mine was the Tiana’s Buttermilk Beignets and Patrick’s was the New Orleans Bananas Foster Sundae. The Beignets were like a warm donut with chocolate sauce. AMAZING! Patrick liked the Sundae so much he ordered another one that night and then the next night at Animator’s Palate our amazing server got him another one!
Tiana goes around to all the tables to photos and to play with the kids. It’s just a very fun laid back atmosphere with lots of music and dancing.
