We rang in the new year at home…and it was perfect for us. At midnight we walked out to the patio to see people around the city shooting fireworks. All three of us wrapped up in a blanket, listening to Jace’s eeeewwwws and aaahhhs. For New Years we stayed in the house all day. It was in the 30s all day and we stayed in and snuggled. We made a huge pallet on the floor and watched movies and played in the living room with Jace all day. Good thing Frozen is a cute movie cause Jace loves it.
We all came down with another cold again. I think this is Jace’s 3rd, my 4th, and Patrick’s 2nd since the week before Thanksgiving. Hopefully once this one passes we will all stay healthy! The coughing and congestion is the worst part. Anyone have any tips on what to stop a 20 month old from coughing all night?
Today we decided to take a little trip to the Riverwalk. Since we moved to San Antonio we haven’t been much, but I wanted to see it before they took the lights down this coming week. We took Jace to the bench Patrick asked me to marry him on and took some silly pictures. I think today was the day to do it, it was in the 60s today but will be colder again tonight. Boo, I’m ready for warm weather.
