Tiana’s Place on the Reimagined Disney Wonder

The Disney Wonder recently got a major update. We were lucky enough to be one of the first few cruises out of Galveston on it. It was simply amazing. One of the new additions was Tiana’s Place.  It was my favorite restaurant out of the 3 restaurants part of the rotational dining. The atmosphere was upbeat and very kid friendly. Jace LOVED all the dancing and live music. And it was beautiful.  Since we went on a 7 night cruise[Read more]

Simple 3 Ingredient Cucumber Ranch Dip

Last week we went to Schlitterbahn with some of Patrick’s sisters and their kids. Jace loves it there and had even more fun with his cousins to play with. One of the many things I love about that place is you can bring in your own food. One of Patrick’s sisters made cucumber dip and Jace and I loved it! Cucumbers always make everything taste so crisp and fresh since they have so much water in it. I decided that[Read more]

Quaker 3 Minute Steel Cut Oats

Mornings during the week are often rushed until Patrick gets out the door. Patrick is not a morning person and always has trouble getting up on time. When Jace gets up a little while later he is ready to eat right away. Recently we tried Quaker 3 minute Steel Cut Oats. It is amazing. It is fast to make. Only takes 3 minutes in the microwave then you just wait until it thickens to how you like it. Since[Read more]

Easy Homemade Salsa

I love making salsa and I could put it on everything. I just found out a few years ago how easy it is to make. All you really need in a blender or food chopper and you can have fresh homemade salsa in minutes. I used to add more jalapeno but Jace likes to eat it too and he isn’t a fan of anything too spicy. Easy Homemade Salsa 1 Jalapeno seeds removed 3 or 4 Medium Tomatoes cut in[Read more]

Frosty VoxBox from Influenster!

I received these products complimentary to try and review from Influenster.  I got this awesome box in right before Christmas. I was so excited to try these items.  The only thing that I didn’t like was that when I opened my box the lid to the eyeliner had fallen off during shipping and smudged the tip. Since we had a sweet tooth we opened up the Fruit Vines right away. I loved the flavor and Jace loved them! He insisted[Read more]

Easy Spaghetti Squash

We have been wanting to try eating healthier and I love making new things. He problem is Patrick is an extremely picky eater. He likes meat, potatoes, and fruit. He will only eat canned green beans and likes his corn mixed in with his mashed potatoes. Which can make eating healthier a little more difficult. I love veggies and salad but he hates them. Jace is also starting to become a little picky. He loves pasta. And I’m pretty sure[Read more]

Easy Pork Tenderloin

While there are many ways to make pork tenderloin the easiest has to be with using Italian dressing. The best thing is that you don’t need many ingredients. We made this for dinner last night. Patrick has been wanting it lately and it goes really well with mashed potatoes which Jace REALLY likes. 🙂 Sometimes we eat it plain or on bread but I think our favorite way is on warm tortillas with cheese.   Easy Pork Tenderloin Pork tenderloin Light[Read more]

Easy Crock Pot Jalapeno Mac and Cheese

So yesterday I attempted to make Mac and Cheese for the first time. It came out pretty good and it was soooo easy to make. Yesterday was me and Patrick’s 4th anniversary. We have been so busy running around lately that we decided to stay home tonight and go out to dinner on Saturday when he is off. So we had sausage and mac and cheese. There is a small place by Patrick’s work that always puts jalapeno in the[Read more]
