Back to Normal

I’ve missed a ton of days. All of our days ran together and the only thing we seemed to be able to keep track of was who needed Advil next. Jace bounced back pretty quickly. Rylie on the other hand stayed sick for a while and even now has a little cough.  It’s now February. How crazy that a whole month of 2017 has already gone by.  Here’s hoping February is better.  Jace has been having night terrors almost every[Read more]

Tiana’s Place on the Reimagined Disney Wonder

The Disney Wonder recently got a major update. We were lucky enough to be one of the first few cruises out of Galveston on it. It was simply amazing. One of the new additions was Tiana’s Place.  It was my favorite restaurant out of the 3 restaurants part of the rotational dining. The atmosphere was upbeat and very kid friendly. Jace LOVED all the dancing and live music. And it was beautiful.  Since we went on a 7 night cruise[Read more]

I’m still here

It’s been months since I last updated. I’ve thought about it several time but the longer it goes the harder it is to come back and write.  I’m still here… I have been crazy busy trying to get my small business going. I’m doing vinyl decals and crafts when I have any spare time. A few months ago we realized that there was no way we were going to be able to pay off all of our debt (Student loans[Read more]

Family Fun

Yesterday we actually got to have a little family fun. For the past few weekends either Patrick or I have been sick so we haven’t been doing much. Yesterday we ended up all going to the store together which doesn’t happen too much anymore. Nothing too exciting except I got a free Starbucks drink and both kids were good. Who doesn’t love free Starbucks and when your kids are good in public? Woohoo! Rylie loves being worn and went to[Read more]

Arms always full

In my head I write blog posts all the time. In reality it never happens. True be told I’m debating between writing this one or going to sleep. I just got Patrick off to work and the babies are still sleeping on the bed. Jace is lightly snoring his hair wild and Rylie is still sucking even though her pacifier isn’t in her mouth anymore. Her cheeks though… They make me melt.  During the day my arms are always full.[Read more]

Just another Monday

Rylie was up all night long… She finally went to sleep right before Patrick left for work. So now she is sleeping and while I’m trying to keep her up it’s not really working. To be honest I’m not trying that hard since I’m tired! I’m hoping Patrick will have the energy to keep her up when he gets home.     Today I enjoyed every drop of my coffee. Dang breastfeeding and I only left myself have one small cup[Read more]

9 weeks old

It feels like for the past few weeks the button for our life has been stuck on fast forward. We have had a lot going on the past few weeks and have been super unorganized and busy. First Rylie is now 9 WEEKS old! Where that time went I will never know. She is starting to get rolls which I’m pretty proud to say is all from me. Breastfeeding is going well. It is totally different from how hard it[Read more]

And Then There Were Four…

On December 23rd, at exactly 39 weeks miss Rylie Beth Munson joined our little family. I will try to get her birth story up soon. 🙂 So that is why I’ve been MIA lately…. Everything around here has been slightly more chaotic but she has fit right in. Jace has been great with her and acts like she has always been apart of our daily routine. I was worried he would have problems with sharing my attention during the day[Read more]

Thankful

Thanksgiving has already came and passed. Tomorrow is the first day of December! (Ok now it’s today since it took me 2 days to finish this!) We spent the holiday visiting family, eating good food, waking up on a deflated air mattress, and probably spending too much on Jace’s Christmas presents on Black Friday.      We spent Saturday resting and went to pick out our tree late that afternoon. Jace was so excited and couldn’t stop talking about putting[Read more]
